AI Lead Generation Automation
Move from raw enquiries to sales-ready leads without manual sorting
Tenaxity builds AI lead generation automation that enriches, scores and routes every inbound lead into your CRM, with alerts for the leads that matter, so sales teams can act faster on the right opportunities.
Where this workflow usually breaks
Useful AI lead generation starts with the enquiries you already get: knowing who each lead is, how good a fit they are and who should reply. These are the leaks Tenaxity looks for before building anything. The goal is less missed work, faster handoff and cleaner systems, not more AI for its own sake.
Leads arrive from too many places
Forms, ads, website chat, email, and partner referrals can be normalised into one lead intake workflow.
Sales teams cannot prioritise quickly
AI scores fit, urgency, intent, source quality, and missing context before the lead is assigned.
Outbound prep is slow
Research notes, suggested angles, and draft first-touch messages can be prepared automatically.
How to enrich inbound leads and route them into a CRM
This is a typical workflow, in the order it runs. Deterministic rules handle the checks that need to be repeatable, AI handles messy text and judgement calls, and people approve anything that goes back to the lead.
Capture
Website forms, ad lead forms, chat, email and referrals send each new lead to one intake workflow, with source and consent kept.
Clean
Names, emails, phone numbers and company names are tidied, and spam or test entries are filtered out.
Deduplicate
The CRM is searched by email and company domain, so an existing contact is updated rather than created twice.
Enrich
Company size, sector, location and a short website summary are added from enrichment APIs and public sources.
Score
Rules check hard criteria such as country or company size. An LLM reads the message for intent, urgency and fit, and gives a one-line reason.
Route
AI lead routing suggests the owner by territory, sector or deal size; rules make the final assignment, with a fallback queue.
Create
The contact, company and deal or lead record are created in the CRM with the summary, score and source attached.
Alert
The owner gets a Slack, Teams or email alert with the brief and a draft reply to edit and approve.
Tools the workflow connects
Most builds run in n8n with an LLM for the reading and scoring steps, connected to the tools you already use through their APIs.
Lead sources
Website forms, Facebook and LinkedIn lead ads, website chat, shared inboxes, event lists and referral forms.
Enrichment
We can connect to enrichment providers such as Apollo, to Companies House for UK company data, and to the lead's own website for a plain-English summary.
CRM and alerts
HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or Zoho for records, and Slack, Microsoft Teams or email for alerts and approvals.
What Tenaxity can build
Implementation-led workflows with defined inputs, outputs, owners and controls. Lead enrichment automation is usually the first piece, because scoring and routing are only as good as the data behind them.
Automation candidates
- Inbound lead routing
- Company enrichment and deduplication
- Intent and fit scoring
- CRM record creation and owner assignment
- Slack, Teams, or email alerts
- Outbound research and first-message prep
Controls built in from day one
- Consent and source checks before outbound use
- Human approval for generated outreach
- Duplicate prevention before CRM creation
- Fallback routing when enrichment is incomplete
- Low-confidence fields flagged for a person to check
Risks to plan for, and the controls we use
Most problems with AI lead generation come from trusting the output too early. These are the three we design around.
Wrong enrichment
Matching on a personal email or a common company name can pull in the wrong business. The workflow matches on domain where it can and marks anything uncertain for a person to check.
A bad score
Every score comes with a short reason, so the owner can see why a lead was ranked high or low and override it. Overrides are worth reviewing to tune the rules.
Consent and privacy
Source and consent fields travel with the lead, enrichment stays to business information, and leads are only used for outbound where you have a lawful basis.
AI lead generation in practice: a worked example
A hypothetical example to show the arithmetic, not a client result.
Before
Say a services firm receives 200 inbound enquiries a month, and someone spends 6 minutes on each: reading it, checking the company, searching the CRM, creating the record and passing it on. That is 1,200 minutes, or 20 hours a month.
After
Assume a quarter of enquiries are spam or clearly unsuitable and are filtered out. The other 150 arrive enriched, scored and assigned, and the owner spends 2 minutes checking each: 300 minutes, or 5 hours a month.
What changes
Under those assumptions the team saves about 15 hours a month. The owner is alerted when the workflow runs, not when someone next checks the inbox, and still decides how to reply.
Turn lead flow into a repeatable intake system
Lead automation works when every enquiry has a known source, owner, next step, and fallback path if the data is incomplete.
Qualify before the handoff
Check source, fit, urgency, duplicates, and missing context before a lead lands with sales.
See intake examplesRoute leads while they are warm
Create CRM records, assign owners, send alerts and prepare first-touch drafts without waiting for manual sorting. Once leads are in, AI CRM automation keeps those records current.
Explore sales automationProtect the outbound process
Keep consent, source quality, duplicate checks, and approval rules visible before generated outreach is used.
Audit the workflowFAQs
Short answers for teams deciding whether this workflow is worth mapping properly.
Is this for inbound or outbound leads?
Both, but the workflow design differs. Inbound usually starts with routing and response speed; outbound starts with data quality and approval.
Can this create CRM records automatically?
Yes, with duplicate checks and required field rules so the CRM does not become noisier.
Can it write outreach messages?
Yes. Tenaxity usually keeps generated outreach in draft or task form until the team approves the pattern.
How accurate is lead enrichment automation?
It depends on the source and on how much the lead tells you. A work email and company name usually enrich well; a personal email and a vague message may not. The workflow marks low-confidence fields so nobody treats a guess as fact.
What does AI lead routing look at?
Whatever your team already uses to decide ownership: territory, sector, company size, service line, language or a round robin. Rules make the final assignment, and anything that matches no rule goes to a fallback queue.
Which CRMs and tools does it work with?
We can connect to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho and most tools with an API, plus Slack, Microsoft Teams and email for alerts.
